It is an effective Ayurvedic medicine for the treatment of all types of fevers and viral infections like chronic fever, intermittent fever, viral fever, malaria, dengue, typhoid and chikungunya. It boosts the immunity that helps to fight body bacteria & viral infection and cures symptoms of fever like body pain, restlessness, cough, cold, indigestion, fatigue, lassitude, headache and high temperature.
Amrutharishtam also acts as an expectorant and appetiser; and is useful in dyspepsia, flatulence, cough & asthma. It has liver stimulant and hematogenic action, which improves liver functions, helps to improve the blood formation & increase haemoglobin level in the blood. It also acts as an anti-inflammatory, anti-diabetic, anti-bacterial, anti-ageing, and blood cleansing agent.
