Description
Haemorrhoids (piles) are engorged veins in the anal canal, which protrude out occasionally and prolapse, if left untreated. They are classified into external and internal, with regard to their position in relation with the dentate line. External piles are painful and may produce discomforts like itching, burning sensation, bleeding etc. constipation which causes repeated strain during defecation in turn increases the pressure in the veins, thereby causes the prolapse of pile mass. The combination of herbs in Chiruvilwadi Kashayam like chiruvilwa, punarnava and many more helps to relieve abdominal disturbances like flatulence, constipation, indigestion etc; thus makes the defecation effortless. This in turn reduces the size and inflammation of pile mass and brings down the intensity of discomfort. On regular intake of medicine as per doctors advice, the condition could be well treated; cured if the degree of prolapse is not above 3rd degree at the time of treatment.
